Julian Wormald has an experimental approach to gardening, with a particular focus on biodiversity.

“My hope is to inspire gardeners living in climates where such plants will thrive, to plant more of them, and enjoy the benefits of getting out into their gardens, whatever the weather, to see what’s flowering. I’ll focus on our stalwarts of Cyclamen, Crocus, snowdrops and daffodils with a little about other bulbs we’ve tried here in mid-Wales – some of which work here, and some don’t. It covers my views on the advantages of encouraging a vigorous and diverse pollinator population to ensure seed production of these plants, and encompasses a fair bit of science, social history, and cultivation tips.”
