A unique garden, the joint creation of innovative plantswoman Joyce Robinson, and later, the garden designer John Brookes. Chair of the charitable trust that now owns the garden, Gwendolyn Van Paasschen, is directing a gradual restoration, which features many mature trees and shrubs and what is arguably Britain’s first gravel garden.
