Nigel Dunnett

Nigel Dunnett is Professor of Planting Design and Vegetation Technology at the University of Sheffield and a leading proponent of sustainable, biodiverse landscapes. His research and development interests over the years have included ornamental coppice, rain gardens, annual seed mixes for public space and green roofs. Nigel has worked as a planting designer for a number of high profile British public spaces, including the Barbican in London, and Superbloom at the Tower of London. He has an unique ability to analyse the aesthetics of wild vegetation and develop from it a design language.
