Neil Lucas

Neil Lucas is the founder of Knoll Gardens in Dorset and one of the UK’s foremost experts on ornamental grasses, very much in the context of naturalistic planting. A former RHS council member, he champions sustainable horticulture and wildlife-friendly garden design. At his Knoll Gardens nursery, he showcases drought-tolerant, low-maintenance planting schemes using grasses and perennials. He also established the Knoll Gardens Foundation to promote ecological gardening through research and education.
