Hernan De Armas

Originally from Venezuela, Hernan moved to London in 2004 and studied Computer Science at the University of Greenwich, combining his technical training with a passion for design and visualization.

In 2020, during the pandemic, Hernan relocated to Poland and joined his wife, Magda Pelka, in The Planting Studio, a visualization practice dedicated to landscape design. Together, they specialize in building detailed 3D models and renders using SketchUp, supporting designers and studios in bringing their projects to life.

Their work has been commissioned widely across the UK, as well as in Europe and the United States, and has been published in Gardens Illustrated and the Garden Design Journal. Collaborating with landscape architects and garden designers, they create clear, compelling visualizations that bridge ideas and reality.
