War and the Landscape

War does incredible damage to landscapes. How does a landscape recover? To what extent should we treat the post-war landscape as a memorial? Landscape architect Helen Basson talks about these issues, which she is researching for a PhD, as well as her work as a garden design in the south of France; in conversation with Noel and Anna Lena Hahn.
