Judith Taylor on women in garden history

A retired neurosurgeon, now in her 90s, Judith Taylor has had a second career as an adventurous writer on garden history. Her latest book Women and Gardens, ‘A History from the Victorian Era to Today’ looks at 200 years of garden history and the role that women have played, either publicly, or behind the scenes in gardening, plant breeding, literature and landscape architecture.
