Ed Flint, Head Gardener, on his Desert Island Plants

Ed Flint is well known to many as @rotheramblings on Instagram, documenting his work and travels.
Head Gardener in a private garden on the Kent/Sussex border, Ed is an experienced lecturer and runs courses at Great Dixter as well as teaching at The English Gardening School.
We have asked Ed the impossible question, to select his desert island plants, tune in to find out which eight plants would he take with him to his desert island? This is a roundabout way of asking “what are the plants that you have most enjoyed and found most useful in your career?”

Inspired by the BBC Radio 4 programme, Desert Island Discs, one of the world’s longest running regular radio programmes; guests choose the five gardens they would fantasise about if they were stranded on a desert island.
