The Oase Foundation is a remarkable Dutch organisation that co-ordinates the work of community gardeners who want to create spaces for nature. It has a particularly strong system for providing garden and nature education to workers and volunteers. We talk to landscape architect Pieter Jansma about Oase and how it works, and its links to the very lively wider Dutch ecological planting scene.
