Claire Woodward – Senior Horticulturalist at the Amazon Spheres

Garden Chat Archive

Back in February Annie was asked to speak at the Northwest Horticultural Society Symposium in Seattle, whilst there she was lucky enough to be invited to visit the Amazon Spheres. This is where she met our guest for this week who is Claire Woodward, a Senior Horticulturalist who has worked at the Amazon Spheres since they were built. We will be chatting to Claire about her role, the extraordinary standard of horticultural and the stand out plants, and we ask why she has to start work at 5am!

This chat was originally broadcast on Thursday 11 June 2026.
