Angie Lewin – printmaker, in conversation

Garden Chat Archive

Angie Lewin’s prints, often seen on greeting cards, are familiar to many of us in the garden world. Evoking the great era of British drawing and print making of the 1930s, her work in a variety of media celebrates plants, flowers and landscapes but above all it is her seed heads that are her USP – stylised but their botanical family still recognisable. We talk to her about her old life in Norfolk, working and gardening, and her move to Speyside, Scotland.
